People Capacity Management – Our client is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of bank instructions
  • Managing petty cash
  • Review of supplier invoices received
  • Ensure customer bills are dispatched promptly
  • Follow up with customers on payment
  • Liaising with Account Manager on the position of the company account
  • Responsible for lodging cheques with the bank
  • Maintain General ledger
  • Accuracy of transactions posted must be checked
  • Daily update of bank transaction
  • Carry out bank reconciliation
  • Ensure remittance of statutory taxes, such as VAT, WHT, PAYEE, NSITF etc
  • Weekly Management report
  • Updating Customer account with invoices and receivables
  • Carrying out weekly vendor account reconciliation
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • Accounting / Economics graduate with 1-3 years working experience
  • A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
  • Attention to details
  • Self Starter
  • Must be able to work with a team
  • Must be willing to work outside the working hours
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be between 25 year-30 years.
