Another healthy body: Blues activate Barbashev from IR

The St. Louis Blues continue to get healthier. Ivan Barbashev is back.

The Blues activated the 25-year-old forward from injured reserve Friday. He is expected to be available when the Blues visit the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night.

Barbashev suffered a left ankle injury Feb. 18 against San Jose and has missed the team’s last 18 games. His return comes not long after that of several other injured Blues, including Jaden Schwartz, Robert Thomas, Tyler Bozak, Jacob de la Rose and, going a bit farther back, Vladimir Tarasenko.

Barbashev has six points (two goals, four assists) and four penalty minutes in 17 games this season.
