Job Title: Assistant Sales Lead

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as monitoring the performance of the sales team
  • Communicate the day-to-day sales goals and strategies to subordinate employees, promoting attentive and individualized customer service (as well as handling any customer complaints), and initiating and closing sales
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with sales staff/customers.
  • Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
  • Regularly attending & organizing sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Performing all duties of the Sales leader in cases of absence or emergency.
  • Assistant sales leader may have to fill in for their supervising sales leader to ensure smooth and uninterrupted sales service
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned from the supervising sales leader

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field in the Pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage
  • 5 years+ proven experience in sales in pharma industry
  • Area/ Territory Manager in pharma industry with experience managing sales reps across Nigeria
  • Experience achieving monthly sales of 100M NGN+ through leading sales reps across Nigeria
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office & Google Workspace applications
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 (plus other benefits and commission)
