Austin Slater’s eighth-inning 482-foot, two-run homer sends Giants past D’Backs, 6-5

He clubbed a clutch two-run homer in the eighth inning, traveling 482 feet, to give the Giants a 6-5 lead they would not relinquish against the reeling Arizona Diamondbacks.
