Bally Sports Great Lakes announces Cleveland Indians 2021 regular season broadcast schedule

“Bally Sports Big Opening Day” Will Debut April 1 at 11AM Prior to Indians @ Tigers Coverage; Live Show to Offer MLB Previews and Sports Updates Across the 19 Bally Sports Regional Networks

CLEVELAND, OH – Bally Sports Great Lakes (rebranding from SportsTime Ohio), home of the Cleveland Indians, today announced its 2021 Indians regular season schedule with approximately 157 games of the Indians 162-game schedule. All games not airing exclusively on a national platform will air on the all-new Bally Sports Great Lakes regional network starting with season opener coverage, April 1 at 12:30 p.m. @ the Detroit Tigers.

All season long, Rick Manning and Matt Underwood will call the action with Andre Knott reporting.

Indians Live, hosted by Al Pawlowski and Jensen Lewis, will also air thirty minutes before and immediately following every Tribe game all season long to provide fans with commentary, features, highlights, player interviews and analysis.

Complementing Opening Day coverage on April 1 – and marking a new era of regional sports – “Bally Sports Big Opening Day” will leverage the Bally Sports regional networks to offer fans across the country for the first-time ever a live, whip- around style MLB Opening Day broadcast complete with expert analysis, interviews and more. In coordination with Sinclair-owned sister sports platforms, including Tennis Channel and Stadium, the 1.5-hour special will also feature NHL, NBA, and pro-tennis updates and highlights. Leading off at 11 a.m. ET, “Bally Sports Big Opening Day” will originate from Stadium’s studio in Chicago and air across all 19 Bally Sports regional networks, including Bally Sports Great Lakes.

  • 4 p.m. – Indians vs. Royals action
    • The game will be simulcast on WKYC Channel 3
  • Indians Live postgame show after the game

Season Long Programming

  • Tribe Report will return on Tuesday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. This 30-minute show hosted by Pawlowski and Lewis will recap previous games, break down future matchups, and feature the best interviews, highlights, and more.
  • Drennan Live will also offer Tribe fans enhanced coverage of the Indians. The live show airs Mondays through Thursdays 4:30 p.m.– 6:30 p.m. with varying times on special event dates. Check local listings for schedule information.

STREAMING on the Bally Sports app

Indians programming airing on Bally Sports Great Lakes will stream live on the all-new Bally Sports app and on ballysports.com when a consumer authenticates through their pay-tv service. Both the app and website will launch in coordination with the network rebrand on March 31, 2021. The Bally Sports app will be available on mobile and tablet devices, including iOS and Android, as well as connected devices including, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, PlayStation, Roku Players and Roku TV, Samsung and LG platforms and Xbox One. The FOX Sports GO app will update to the all-new Bally Sports app upon the rebrand.
