Blues prospect Kostin assigned to KHL team
Klim Kostin, one of the St. Louis Blues‘ top prospects, has been assigned to a club in the Kontinental Hockey League.
Kostin will play with Avangard Omsk but will be eligible to rejoin the Blues for next season’s training camp and regular season.
The 21-year-old Russian forward was a first-round draft pick in 2017. He has 29 goals and 53 assists (82 points) in 181 AHL games and one goal in four NHL games.
