Bucks GM Jon Horst signs extension

After assembling a roster that reached the Eastern Conference finals, Milwaukee Bucks general manager Jon Horst is sticking around.

Horst has signed a multiyear extension, the Bucks announced Friday. He was entering the final season of his contract.

Hired in 2017, Horst has helped the Bucks to a 104-60 record over the past two seasons. Horst’s tenure has featured several notable moves, including the decision last summer to hire Mike Budenholzer as head coach.

Horst joined the Bucks’ front office in 2008 as Milwaukee’s director of basketball operations after starting his career with the Detroit Pistons.
