FOX Sports Arizona Announces Arizona Coyotes 2020-21 TV Schedule
The Arizona Coyotes and FOX Sports Arizona announced today that 54 of the Coyotes 56 regular season games will be televised on FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus during the 2020-21 National Hockey League season. Each of the FOX Sports Arizona & FOX Sports Arizona Plus broadcasts will also be streamed on the free FOX Sports GO app, which is an extension of fan’s paid television service.
Heading into what is FOX Sports Arizona’s 25th season of televising Coyotes hockey, 32 games will be offered on FOX Sports Arizona and 22 will be carried on FOX Sports Arizona Plus. Changes to the schedule could occur once the second half of the NBA’s season schedule is announced and FOX Sports Arizona knows its Phoenix Suns schedule, as well as its 2021 Arizona Diamondbacks schedule.
FOX Sports Arizona has been the Coyotes television partner since the team’s inaugural season in 1996. Returning to the TV booth to broadcast for all Coyotes games on FSAZ and FSAZ+ are Matt McConnell (play-by-play) and Tyson Nash (analyst). The network will once again offer its 30-minute “Coyotes Live” pre and post-game shows featuring Todd Walsh, Jody Jackson, Paul Bissonnette, McConnell and Nash.
The season’s telecast schedule begins on Opening Night – Thursday, Jan. 14, when the Coyotes take on the San Jose Sharks in Gila River Arena on FOX Sports Arizona. A special one-hour edition of the “Coyotes Live” pregame show starts of the night at 6 p.m. and the game follows at 7 p.m.
Before all of that, FOX Sports Arizona will debut its “Arizona Coyotes: Season Preview” show on Monday, Jan. 11 at 8:30 pm (replay at 10 p.m.) and then leading up to opening night coverage on Jan. 14, the network premieres “Coyotes Cares: Committed to the Community” at 5:30 p.m. (replay at 10:30 pm). It’s a new half-hour program showcasing the incredible impact the Coyotes organization has made in Arizona.
Besides the 54 games offered on FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus, the remaining two games in the Coyotes 56-game schedule will be exclusive national broadcasts on NBCSN (Vegas on Jan. 18 and St. Louis on March 31).
