Job Title: Head, Marketing & Corporate Communication

Accountable for: Marketing & Corporate Communications Executive

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Articulate, secure stakeholder’s buy-in and lead the implementation/execution of the company’s integrated marketing and communication strategy and/or projects.
  • Lead the development and conceptualisation of all the company’s brand management, marketing campaigns and interventions.
  • Manage the company’s Marketing and Corporate Communications budget and ensure value for money on all campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement communications initiatives and plans to ensure that all corporate messages are well received in a timely and engaging manner.
  • Develop and implement internal communication plans for all company-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement the company’s external communication strategy across all platforms, ensuring alignment with advertising and brand positioning.
  • Champion all awareness creation initiatives for the products and services and ensure the company enjoys top of mind awareness amongst all its customer segments.
  • Oversee the public relation initiatives including press releases, advertising, marketing materials and publications etc.
  • Monitor the production of marketing campaign materials on behalf of the company: rid ensure Oversee the company’s social media campaign and correspondence ensuring consistency acr0ss all platforms,
  • Champion the digital marketing and communications agenda for the company.
  • Serve as editor for the Intranet and Internet writing, reviews and maintaining content on websites to drive optimal users’ engagement.
  • Support the sale of Client’s products across all distribution channels (Retail, Corporate and Alternative
  • Distribution) ensuring that the sales objectives for each event is achieved.
  • Ensure the company enjoys appropriate representation and share of voice in the media (traditional and new media) space.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the company’s marketing and corporate communications activities.
  • Champion all Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives on behalf of the corn any.
  • Drive Revenue: Leverage Group for partnership to build the Client’s brand towards achieving efficiencies, business growth and driving revenue.
  • Reputation Management (Social Media Campaign, Customer Engagement) consistence with the company’s brand identity.
  • Manage and oversee contractual relations and correspondence with vendors and Int grated Marketing
  • Communication Service Providers.

Job Requirements and Competency Specification
Academic Qualification & Work Experience:

  • First Degree in Business and/or Marketing.
  • A Public Relations, International Relations or Mass Communications Degree would also be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years in brand management, public relations, media and/or corporate communications.
  • Proven experience of successfully raising an organisation’s/initiative’s public profile.
  • Related work experience in a non-banking financial service/insurance company Will be an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
