K-State guard DaJuan Gordon transfers to Mizzou

DaJuan Gordon, a guard who spent his first two seasons at Kansas State, has transferred to Missouri.

Gordon will have three years of eligibility remaining at Mizzou.

The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 9.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 26.1 minutes per game while starting 22 of 25 games as a sophomore at K-State last season. He had a team-best four double-doubles in 2020-21. The season before he was the only true freshman to play in all 32 games for the Wildcats, averaging 6.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

“DaJuan is a really athletic, gifted guard who brings a high level of passion and intensity to the court every single day,” Tigers coach Cuonzo Martin said. “He plays physical, tough basketball on both ends, and we’re excited to have him be a part of that culture we’ve built at Mizzou.”

Said Gordon: “I wanted to come to Mizzou because I want to play for Coach Martin. He’s a tough coach, and he’s all about winning.”
