Cam Newton got the start in the New England Patriots’ preseason opener last night against the Washington Football Team. He played two series, including a nine play drive that led to a field goal. Patriots’ fans gave Mac Jones a standing ovation when he entered the game. The rookie quarterback went 13-of-19 for 87 yards and led two field goal drives of his own. Marcellus Wiley explains why its not quite Mac Jones time as of not, but will be in the near future.
