Packers activate AJ Dillon from exempt/COVID-19 list

The Green Bay Packers made a couple of roster moves ahead of their clash against Detroit in Week 14, most notably activating rookie running back AJ Dillon from the exempt/COVID-19 list.

Additionally, the Packers signed tight end Dominique Dafney to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated wide receiver Juwann Winfree and guard Ben Braden from the practice squad to the active roster. Green Bay also signed tight end Isaac Nauta to the practice squad.

Dillon, a 2020 second-round pick by Green Bay, has rushed 23 times for 97 yards in seven career games. He hasn’t played since Week 8 against Minnesota.

Dafney has been on the Packers’ practice squad since Week 6. He was elevated to the active last week and played five special-teams snaps and six snaps on offense against Philadelphia.

Nauta, a seventh-round pick by Detroit in 2019, has recorded three catches for 16 yards over 13 career contests.
