Packers activate LB Kirksey from injured reserve

The Green Bay Packers have activated linebacker Christian Kirksey from injured reserve after he missed the past five games with a shoulder injury.

Kirksey, an offseason free-agent signing from the Cleveland Browns, recorded 27 tackles in the Packers’ first three games of the season.

Green Bay also made other roster moves, including placing tight end John Lovett on injured reserve.

The Packers elevated safety Henry Black and wide receiver Juwann Winfree from the practice squad to the active roster as COVID-19 replacements. They also elevated cornerbacks KeiVarae Russell and Stanford Samuels to the active roster.
