Job Description

  1. Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  2. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  3. Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  4. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  5. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
  6. Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  7. Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  8. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  9. Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  10. Assist in creating project databases and entering information on new projects costs and completed projects costs
  11. Following up on all projects, ensuring that all costs have been applied appropriately
  12. Assist in ordering of parts and materials in collaboration with project managers
  13. Reviewing contracts and conditions for on-site contract staff in collaboration with the office manager and site coordinator
  14. Liaising with the Operations Manager to review project schedules, determine priorities in conjunction with the project managers, investigate and analyse schedule impacts and recommending actions to be taken to mitigate/avoid schedule conflicts and delays.
  15. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, vendors, project managers, on-site staff and Company management
