Wicrypt is a decentralized mobile internet sharing and monetization network. Wicrypt is a virtual Internet Service Provider that gives users the power to control their own mobile internet data. The Wicrypt protocol is a protocol that enables end to end encryption of user data, bills the user for the amount of data consumed and credits the host.

The Wicrypt network is a decentralized network of routers(micro nodes) and connected clients (mobile phones, laptops, PCs, Smart TVs, Smart Watches and IoTs). The routers are powered by the custom Wicrypt firmware.The network is not controlled by any central authority. Any user or host can acquire a supported router (micro node) and install the wicrypt firmware. The user can use this device to create a WiFi zone within the range covered by the device and anyone with a WiFi-enabled device can connect and have access to the internet.

About the Job
Wicrypt – Product Designer (UI/UX)

We are looking for a creative hands-on Product Designer to join our team, and help build the Internet of the Future.
As a Product Designer, you will work across the full product development lifecycle, drive new feature development, and continuously optimize the user experience for Wicrypt products. Your focus will include all areas of UX/UI and product design, including ideation, user research, interaction design, visual design, sketching, user flows and wireframing, and collaboration with different teams across the organization to support product development.

Responsibilities

Clearly articulate and defend your experience design decisions in front of teams.
Collaborating and communicating closely with teams via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions.
Engage in leading team efforts, maintain timelines, and control project scope.
Create and maintain a consistent user interface design system across all xend products.
Be up to date on design trends and design technologies.
Facilitate digital product visions by designing wireframes, sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups.
Iterate through a complete product design and culls out areas of improvement for a better user experience.
Campaign new ideas and take smart risks.
Implement brand standards and help us find new ways to communicate our brand mission and values.
Suggest improvements to design and performance to product engineers.
Positive attitude with a desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring teamwork environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 or more years of experience working as a (UX/UI) Product designer.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other front-end markup languages
Have a solid understanding of information architecture, information design, and interaction design.
Able to work well under pressure and prepared to put in the hours when projects demand it.
Proficient with Figma, Zeplin, Invision, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
Good knowledge of Google material Design principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
A solid portfolio of UI/UX design projects. (Behance, Dribble, LinkedIn, or Personal portfolio website, etc.)
Bonus points: experience in internet networking and crypto technologies.
