Vikings linebacker Barr ruled out for rest of 2020 season

After losing back-to-back games in ugly fashion, the Minnesota Vikings were dealt more bad news Monday afternoon.

Linebacker Anthony Barr has been placed on injured reserve with a torn pec. Head coach Mike Zimmer told the press Monday that Barr will miss the rest of the season.

Barr joins defensive end Danielle Hunter and guard Pat Elflein on injured reserve.

Barr tallied six tackles in the season-opener against Green Bay but did not register any stats Sunday in Indianapolis. He suffered the injury in the first half and did not return.

Minnesota hosts the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at 12 p.m.
