Badgers men’s basketball rises to No. 12 in AP top-25 poll

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team jumped up one spot from No. 13 to No. 12 in the latest Associated Press top-25 poll, released Monday.

Wisconsin topped Rhode Island 73-62 in its only contest since last week’s poll was released.

Third-ranked Iowa (6-0) and fourth-ranked Michigan State (6-0) are the two Big Ten programs ranked ahead of Wisconsin. Illinois (No. 13), Rutgers (No. 19), Ohio State (No. 20), and Michigan (No. 25) are also in the top 25.

The Badgers return to the court Tuesday to battle Loyola at the Kohl Center.
